Patio in the Morning Shade
Vine: I have been out of the vineyard for a week recovering from the attack of my ATV. Besides, she who can not be mentioned in my blog has me on a very short leash. In the meantime there has been prodigious growth and I am so far behind now, I will have to hire help to push vines up through the wires and thin. Then there is mowing and weed eating which I will get done eventually. So I will just leave you with a picture of my patio which is a sign that summer is arriving, let out door living begin.

Wine: I had a great bottle (yes whole bottle but it was medicinal) of East Slope Syrah (2008) from Holly’s Hill. It was so good I wrote a brilliant blog about how brilliant I am which I will post on Sunday. Probably with a little hair of the dog, I can keep that fantasy going. But the wine was superb and just being alive these days is enough. Carpe Diem
